As your school year’s end approaches, you may have difficulty seeing past your last exam or hooding day. Taking a few minutes now, though, to get some important dates on your calendar will pay off as a good investment. The endless summers of your childhood don’t exist any more, you will find, and journal competitions, OCI bidding, etc., will be here much sooner than you may anticipate. Every year we hear students express surprise at almost or actually missing important deadlines because next school year seems to far off when this year concludes. Review the information below with your calendar in hand:
Journal competitions- May 11-21
OCI early fall 2010 bidding begins June 14, ends July 25
OCI regular fall 2010 bidding begins June 14, ends August 25
Out-of-state interview programs bidding dates begin June 14, end July 22
Out-of-state resume collect programs begin June 14, end August 9
In addition, review critical summer dates in 1L, 2L and 3L timelines, which contain comprehensive lists of everything you can do over the summer to make your professional life a lot easier next year.
